The ship based component of TORERO 2012 (February-March 2012) was a research cruise aboard the NOAA RV Ka’imimoana which was meant to compliment the aircraft measurements being made in the same regions. This campaign was the first deployment of the Fast-CE-DOAS instrument which was able to measure glyoxal fluxes over the open ocean.
